Position Overview: We are in search of a seasoned Financial Controller to enhance our financial operations in Berlin. As an integral part of the Site Leadership Team, your role will be pivotal in maximizing shareholder value by crafting and executing robust financial and operational strategies tailored for our Berlin facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish the financial vision for the Berlin operation, encompassing business planning and financial forecasting.
- Deliver strategic financial insights to the site leadership and essential stakeholders.
- Oversee all cash flow activities, with a strong emphasis on improving Net Working Capital.
- Champion ongoing process enhancements through the application of digital technologies.
- Supervise month-end closing processes, reconciliations, and variance analyses.
- Generate precise and timely financial reports.
- Manage payroll operations while ensuring adherence to local tax laws.
- Lead the annual financial audit process and uphold IFRS compliance.
- Collaborate with other facilities regarding Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable management.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in a senior financial capacity within the pharmaceutical or similar sectors.
- Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS and German tax legislation.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to operate effectively in a cross-functional setting.
- Expertise in ERP systems.
- Fluency in both English and German.
