About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced procurement professional to join our team at Stadt Neumünster. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process for the city, ensuring that all procurement activities are conducted in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the procurement process for the city, including the preparation and evaluation of tenders and contracts.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the best value for the city.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including the Public Procurement Act (VOB) and the Act on the Procurement of Services (UVgO).
  • Manage and maintain procurement records and documentation.
  • Provide support and guidance to other departments and teams on procurement-related matters.
Requirements
  • Relevant education and experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement laws and regulations, including the VOB and UVgO.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
