Valmet GmbH is seeking a skilled Service Specialist to join our Finishing Division.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience in mechanical service and maintenance. As a Service Specialist, you will be responsible for carrying out projects in the field of mechanical service and modernization at our customers' sites in Central Europe.
Main Responsibilities- On-site project execution, installation, and installation supervision
- Organization and implementation of service and installation work
- Contact person for the customer regarding technical and project-related questions
- Preparation of protocols and service reports
- Training with a focus on mechanics/mechanical engineering (e.g. technician or master craftsman)
- Solid knowledge of mechanics, optionally experience in one or more of the following areas: Hydraulics, pneumatics, drive technology, optical measurement
- Preferably also industry knowledge in the paper industry
- Ability to work in a team, as well as good organizational and communication skills
- Fun and initiative to learn new things
- At least good to very good German and good written and spoken English language skills
- Confidence in dealing with the latest IT systems
- Class B driving license and willingness to travel (~70–80 %)
