Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on HVAC Engineer to join our team in Frankfurt. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, repairing, and optimizing climate control systems for clean rooms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hands-On Repair & Maintenance: Perform repair, troubleshooting, and replacement of HVAC components in clean rooms, coolers, freezers, and other climate-controlled environments.
  • Climate Control Systems: Ensure the optimal performance of HVAC systems in two specialized laboratories, ensuring compliance with strict temperature, humidity, and air quality requirements.
  • Special Systems: Manage and maintain HVAC systems specifically tailored for clean rooms and medical device manufacturing environments, ensuring a sterile and controlled climate.
  • Clean Room Compliance: Ensure HVAC systems meet all clean room regulatory standards and maintain the proper climate to avoid contamination.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and maintain the efficiency of climate control systems.
  • Emergency Repairs: Provide on-call support for emergency HVAC repairs or troubleshooting to avoid operational disruptions.
  • Collaborate with Lab Teams: Work closely with lab staff to address any specific climate needs or adjustments required for sensitive equipment or processes.
Requirements:
  • Hands-On Experience: Proven ability to perform practical, hands-on HVAC work, focusing on repairs, installations, and troubleshooting (theoretical knowledge is secondary).
  • HVAC Certifications: Relevant HVAC certifications or qualifications to work on complex climate systems in a technical environment.
  • Clean Room Expertise: Prior experience with HVAC systems in clean rooms or highly regulated environments, ideally in the medical, pharmaceutical, or high-tech industries.
  • Specialized Systems Knowledge: Experience managing specialized cooling and freezing systems in laboratories or medical device manufacturing settings.
  • Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to quickly respond to system failures or inefficiencies.
  • Physical Presence: This role requires full-time onsite work in Wiesbaden, with close interaction with lab teams and facilities staff.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or clean room industries.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for climate control systems in controlled environments.
  • Ability to work independently and manage repair/maintenance schedules.
