Job Description
The Role An exciting opportunity has emerged for an EUDR Compliance Coordinator focused on the European Union Deforestation Regulation ("EUDR") and the commitment to a deforestation-free supply chain. In this position, you will oversee the coordination, processing, and management of execution requirements related to EUDR for the company's soy processing facilities and palm import program. As a key member of the local execution team, you will play a vital role in supporting the organization’s commitment to sustainability while assisting with logistics and execution tasks as needed. This role necessitates close collaboration with our origination, trading, and production teams across various global locations to ensure seamless operations and adherence to relevant regulations. Your ResponsibilitiesTransforming geolocation coordinate data into compliant due diligence statements to affirm a deforestation-free supply chain, Managing the inventory of deforestation-free statements for the facilities, overseeing the entire process from creation to the sale of related products, thereby enhancing transparency, Assessing the deforestation status of shipments through satellite imagery analysis, Ensuring legal compliance of shipments with EUDR standards, Addressing execution requirements for large ocean vessel imports and domestic/export product sales, including import declarations, quality controls, demurrage calculations, and inventory oversight. Your Profile
A university degree or equivalent, preferably in agriculture, supply chain management, or a related field, 2-5 years of experience in the bulk commodity sector, Background in execution and logistics within the agricultural supply chain, Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail, Adaptability to evolving responsibilities in line with the EUDR regulation, Willingness to assist in various execution and logistics tasks as part of the team, Proficient IT skills, particularly in MS Office applications and data management, Proficiency in English; knowledge of German or Dutch is advantageous.
