Strategic Marketing and Communications Lead for Central Europe

As an enthusiastic Marketing & Communications (M&C) Lead for Central Europe, you will concentrate on pioneering and transformative initiatives. Within our CE M&C Strategy & Campaigns team, your primary responsibility will be to formulate the campaign strategy for your designated areas within the Central Europe region, ensuring the effective integration of global marketing materials tailored to a Central European context. You will be the catalyst for all innovation and transformation narratives, crafting and executing comprehensive campaigns. Collaborating closely with the CE Leadership Team, the CE M&C Leadership Team, and global M&C teams, you will strategically develop and tactically implement your campaigns. Alongside managing specific campaigns, you will leverage your expertise to enhance our campaign capabilities and support the growth of our data-driven marketing strategies, while fostering a collaborative approach to our initiatives.
Your key responsibilities will encompass:
- Creating and executing content and campaign plans aligned with our annually revised strategic positioning, including central themes, messaging, objectives, and performance metrics.
- Articulating and directing communications in local CE markets, particularly in Germany, utilizing a comprehensive approach across all internal and external channels, while detailing guidelines, communication frameworks, and timelines for appropriate channels.
- Developing and analyzing thought leadership content and editorial pieces in partnership with subject matter experts and practice group management teams, utilizing existing BCG insights.
- Conducting evaluations and benchmarking in collaboration with our Marketing Intelligence team to assess campaign effectiveness.
- Serving as a liaison across departments for your focus areas, proactively advancing the evolution of our cross-functional marketing and communication efforts and strategic initiatives.
- You possess the ability to create and design compelling content and media assets tailored to specific channels and audiences.
- You are well-versed in the landscape of innovation and transformation, understanding its relevance to BCG's business objectives, and can effectively convey complex subjects through audience-appropriate storytelling and stylistic techniques.
- Your proactive nature, high standards of quality, motivation, and adaptability are evident in your work.

- You hold an academic degree in marketing or communications.
- You bring a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience.
- You are proficient with standard business and office tools, applying them effectively in professional marketing and communication contexts.
- Your command of English and German, both written and spoken, is exceptional.
- You possess a solid understanding of the market and a comprehensive knowledge of the (German) media landscape.
As part of the Strategy & Campaigns team, you will report directly to the CE Marketing & Communications Senior Director. Your team integrates into the broader CE M&C team, collaborating closely with the CE Leadership Team and global M&C teams. Together with your colleagues, you will engage with various contacts across the organization, including different departments and function leaders such as Managing Directors & Partners, Marketing Directors, and peers within and outside BCG's M&C organization.
