Job Title: Local Trial Manager

IQVIA is seeking a highly skilled Local Trial Manager to join our Clinical Functional Service Partnerships (Clinical FSP) department. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for managing clinical research projects in various therapeutic areas.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with company SOPs, work instructions, policies, GCP, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and review high-level budget estimates and detailed budget proposals.
  • Act as primary company contact for assigned trials and ensure local/country teams track project progress.
  • Drive study compliance by maintaining and updating trial management systems.
  • Contribute to site-level recruitment strategies and contingency planning.
  • Deliver competent vendor management and support vendor selection.
  • Ensure trial subject safety and report AEs/SAEs/PQCs within required timelines.
  • Ensure inspection readiness by maintaining complete and accurate data in systems.
  • Work closely with GTL MAO and CPL to implement CAPA for audits/inspections.
  • Ensure accurate finance reporting and trial delivery within budget.
  • Keep trials in compliance with local regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or higher-level degree in life science.
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical research experience in the pharmaceutical industry or CRO.
  • Strong working knowledge of clinical research regulatory requirements.
  • Fluent German language skills on at least C1 level and good command of English.
  • Strong IT skills in software and company systems.
  • Excellent decision-making and financial management skills.
  • Flexibility to manage study teams in a virtual environment.
