About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Quality Management Leader to join our team at Siemens Energy. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our compressors, from production to engineering and project management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Quality Management department, including disciplinary leadership of approximately 10 team members.
  • Ensure quality assurance, material inspection, quality management in project development and business processes, productivity management, handling of defective products, review of cost of poor quality, and problem-solving with continuous improvement.
  • Manage the company's quality management system (DIN EN ISO 9001), including planning and conducting internal audits, external supplier audits, and certification audits at the site.
  • Be responsible for the budget of the assigned cost center.
  • Support the sales department in analyzing customer requirements and developing solutions to harmonize with internal processes.
  • Promote digitalization and innovative measurement and testing technology through the team.

Requirements

  • Completed university degree in an engineering field or equivalent qualification with relevant work experience.
  • Experience in quality assurance, preferably with leadership/management responsibility.
  • Basic knowledge of planning and production of customer-specific rotating machines.
  • Flexible, assertive, and team-oriented leadership with the ability to communicate transparently and openly with the team.
  • Knowledge and experience in designing lean processes according to the Lean Method.
  • Fluent German language skills in writing and speaking, as well as negotiation-safe English language skills.
