Financial Planning & Analytics Role

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Reporting Specialist to join our Financial Planning & Analytics team at AUTO1 Global Services SE & Co. KG. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, analyzing financial data, and providing insights to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • **Financial Reporting**: Ensure new business initiatives are tracked efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner in our database, and implement new relevant data to live profitability reporting.
  • **Financial Analysis**: Control the spending of our business lines across Europe and act as a business partner by bridging Accounting and Operational P&L perspectives.
  • **Process Improvement**: Drive the automation of tasks, implement your own ideas, and collaborate with the Business Intelligence department to improve our financial reporting processes.
  • **Data Analysis**: Write and review SQL queries to retrieve data from our extensive database for live profitability reporting.

Requirements

  • **Education**: Recent graduate from a University, preferably in Business, Economics, Finance, or a relevant field.
  • **Experience**: 1-2 years of experience in financial business reporting or controlling (e.g., internship).
  • **Skills**: Analytical mindset, excellent Excel skills, and experience with SQL and dbt is a plus.
  • **Language**: Ability to fluently communicate verbally and written in English.
