Site Reliability Engineer - Database Platform Engineering - STACKIT (m/f/d)

**Department**: IT - Cloud Services, Specialist career // **Location**: Hybrid Work Model // **Employment Type**: Full-time / Part-time

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and dependable code for our software solutions utilizing Kubernetes.
  • Engage in the complete software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through design to deployment and ongoing maintenance.
  • Conduct code reviews to uphold code quality and foster knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Actively contribute to design and architecture discussions to enhance the technical vision and roadmap of our offerings.
  • Continuously improve and automate processes to eliminate repetitive tasks.
Required Qualifications
  • Proficient in one of the following programming languages: C, C++, Go (Golang), Rust.
  • Experience in constructing and managing large-scale distributed systems.
  • Strong understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles, including monitoring, alerting, error budgets, and fault analysis.
  • Proactive, enjoys agile work environments, and demonstrates reliability.
  • Open to collaborating with international teams.
