Role Overview:- Title: Medical Technologist in Radiology (MTR)
- Collaboration: Partnership with the University Medical Center Schleswig-Holstein
- Specializations: X-ray imaging, CT imaging, MRI, radiotherapy, nuclear medicine, and dosimetry
- Emphasis: Patient-centered care and innovative technology
- Facilities: Access to state-of-the-art equipment at UKSH's Karl-Lennert Center and a unique radiotherapy simulation device in Northern Germany
- Career Prospects: Strong job opportunities following completion of training
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in patient interaction
- Strong foundation in mathematics and physics
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Conducting diagnostic imaging procedures (X-ray, MRI, CT scans)
- Administering radiotherapy and nuclear medicine
- Ensuring radiation safety and performing dosimetry
- Duration: 3 years
- Theoretical Instruction: Provided in Kiel
- Practical Experience: Available in either Kiel or Lübeck
