System Calibration Specialist for Variable Valve Train Systems

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical development of variable valve train systems and actuators, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Design and evaluate technical concepts and solutions based on measurements, simulations, and prototype systems, driving innovation and improvement.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal departments to define requirements and ensure seamless system integration, calibration, and software development.
  • Develop and document functional requirements, creating a robust system architecture with a focus on control systems.
  • Implement OBD functions, ensuring compliance and efficiency.

Your Qualifications

  • Hold a degree in automotive, electrical, or control engineering, or mechatronics, with a strong foundation in system development.
  • Bring professional experience in electromotive actuator development, from design to series production, with a focus on BLDC motors, electronics, and software.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of electronics, software, mechanics, and their interaction, with a strong understanding of system development and validation.
  • Be proficient in MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow, INCA, and common automotive bus systems, with experience in development processes like ASPICE.
  • Exhibit strong analytical thinking, independent work ethic, and excellent teamwork and communication skills, with fluency in written and spoken German and English.
