What can you anticipate?
  • You will be designing and refining logic for defending against DDoS attacks, particularly at the network layer
  • You will enhance pipelines for the automatic detection and mitigation of attack patterns, along with reporting using flow data
  • You will assist the team by providing automated operational processes and deploying network components for on-call readiness
  • You will create interfaces for other teams for integration into hosting products
  • You will manage and troubleshoot the router infrastructure of our defense solutions
  • You will support goal achievement through efficient operational architecture, proactive lifecycle management, and streamlined processes in an agile DevOps setting
What qualifications should you possess?
  • You have several years of experience in managing network components and JUNOS as a Network Operating System
  • You have extensive knowledge of the BGP routing protocol and BGP Flowspec
  • You have experience with Linux-based network filtering technologies such as Netfilter, nftables, eBPF, or XDP
  • You are proficient in the operation and development of highly available software artifacts using programming or scripting languages: C, Go, Python, Rust, Bash
  • You possess practical experience with open-source routing services like Frrouting and GoBGP, and Infrastructure as Code with Ansible and automation are integral to your work practices
  • You have strong analytical skills to evaluate DDoS attacks, implement countermeasures, and continuously improve our defense platforms. You share our passion for open source, especially Linux, and can communicate fluently in English with your international team. Proficiency in German is a plus.
