Import Specialist

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Specialist* Trade Compliance – Import / Export to join our team at HARTING Logistics GmbH & Co. KG. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant trade regulations and laws, including customs clearance, export control, and preferential trade agreements.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all import and export transactions, including customs declarations and commercial invoices.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and due diligence on all import and export transactions to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
- Develop and implement effective trade compliance programs and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
- Provide training and support to colleagues on trade compliance matters.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, purchasing, and logistics teams, to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in trade regulations and laws, and implement changes as necessary.
- Relevant degree in international trade, logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in trade compliance, preferably in a similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of trade regulations and laws, including customs clearance, export control, and preferential trade agreements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
