The Solution Sales Executive plays a pivotal role in driving new business and expanding customer relationships by engaging with Executive-level decision-makers and influencers in both private and publicly traded enterprises. This position emphasizes a targeted portfolio of Workiva solutions and necessitates collaboration with various Workiva sales teams to facilitate comprehensive solution sales.

Successful candidates will cultivate relationships and pinpoint Workiva products and services that align with customer requirements, thereby enhancing customer acquisition within a designated territory. Sales growth is achieved through new customer subscriptions, professional services, and training initiatives.

This role will concentrate on promoting Workiva's Environmental, Sustainability & Governance (ESG) solutions within the DACH region.

Key Responsibilities

Proactively identify sales opportunities in partnership with peer Sales teams, Inside Sales, and Partnerships to create a robust sales pipeline Leverage insights gathered during the needs assessment phase to deliver compelling demonstrations of the Workiva platform Effectively address customer objections by removing barriers and devising solutions to various client challenges Naturally lead the sales process to a successful close by effectively communicating Workiva's value proposition Regularly update customer relationship management tools to document customer interactions Provide accurate forecasting through pipeline analysis to predict sales outcomes Develop and implement a strategic sales plan with deliberate actions to secure sales Mobilize internal resources to support account pursuits and optimize outcomes Prioritize sales activities and ensure timely follow-up Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Workiva products through ongoing training and a commitment to personal growth

Required Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

4+ years of experience in a related field, such as enterprise technology or complex solution sales Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience Proficiency in both English and German is essential

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with the Software as a Service (SaaS) business model Capability to demonstrate complex software applications effectively Strong business acumen with the ability to comprehend intricate business challenges Executive presence with the capacity to communicate at senior levels Skill in recognizing and navigating the influence of key stakeholders during the sales cycle Ability to manage multiple complex sales processes concurrently Negotiation skills focused on maintaining value while closing deals Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets

Travel and Working Conditions

Willingness to travel up to 30% for customer meetings and events Reliable internet access is required for remote work outside of a Workiva office
