Role Overview
Engage in hands-on development using Python, collaborating with a dynamic team of software engineers and quantitative developers to drive significant advancements in the financial sector. Participate in modern software development methodologies, including agile practices, continuous integration and deployment, test automation, and cloud-based infrastructure. Oversee the creation of high-performance risk management tools that fulfill regulatory requirements, alongside interactive dashboards and alert systems that monitor risk exposure across numerous positions. Innovate the next generation of wealth management and brokerage services accessible to all. Contribute to and cultivate data-driven initiatives aimed at generating substantial business value. Gain insights into trading algorithms that autonomously manage substantial assets and execute over one million trading decisions within a brief timeframe. Avoid implementing any solutions through traditional spreadsheet tools. Provide support to investment managers, trading, backend operations, wealth management, and risk assessment.Required Qualifications
As a member of our Financial Engineering Team, you should possess:
A strong academic background in a quantitative field such as financial mathematics, computational finance, or statistics. Proficient knowledge of Python programming. Familiarity with version control systems, software development practices, and design principles. Availability for a minimum of 3 months for an internship or 6 months as a working student. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Exceptional communication skills, able to convey information clearly and effectively to various stakeholders, including engineering and product teams.Preferred Skills
Experience with cloud service providers, particularly AWS. Knowledge of relational databases and SQL. Understanding of econometrics, portfolio optimization, and risk modeling.
