Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Expedient Import Specialist to join our team at LOGISTIC PEOPLE (Deutschland) GmbH. As a key member of our global logistics team, you will be responsible for the operational handling of incoming sea freight shipments, managing customer relationships, and ensuring seamless logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Handling: Coordinate the receipt, processing, and delivery of sea freight shipments, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, agents, and other stakeholders to ensure excellent service and support.
  • Logistics Operations: Oversee the import customs clearance process, manage inventory, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure efficient logistics operations.
  • Dispute Resolution: Investigate and resolve any disputes or issues related to shipments, ensuring customer satisfaction and minimizing losses.
  • Financial Management: Process and manage incoming invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payment.

Requirements:

  • Education: Completed vocational training in logistics or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in sea freight import operations, with a strong understanding of customs regulations and procedures.
  • Language Skills: Fluent English language skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in CargoWise and C1, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
