Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Sales Specialist to join our team in Vestas Power Solutions. As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for working with our customers to understand their technical requirements and provide solutions that meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely responses to customer inquiries and provide technical clarifications and deviations to tenders.
- Take ownership of relevant parts of technical risk assessment and mitigation during the Sales phase and adapt the relevant technical annexes and contract schedules to the project-specific requirements.
- Participate in technical meetings and present SCADA/Cybersecurity/Communication scope and solutions towards customers.
- Identify and collect relevant market, country, site, and customer-specific requirements.
Requirements
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. in an Engineering function (Automation/Control/IT/Electrical/Power Systems Engineering or a related field) with about 5 years' experience in a similar position.
- A deep understanding of industrial control systems, SCADA systems, networks, and communication interfaces.
- Understanding of Cybersecurity regulations, requirements, and specifications. Knowledge of IEC and NIS directive is ideal.
- Experience in project or product management from a relevant industry (preferably renewables, offshore wind, energy).
Competencies
- Able to prioritize daily work and effectively coordinate projects in a growth environment.
- Effective time management and organization skills.
- Good communication and presentation skills in English; additional European or Scandinavian language skills would be beneficial.
- Accustomed to traveling and comfortable working in a dynamic and highly progressive environment.
- Creative, detail- and solutions-oriented, and with a high degree of motivation to satisfy customer needs.
- Highly self-motivated, structured, and service-minded work style, results-oriented, able to work with little supervision and with an international team.
