It enforces stringent due diligence requirements for all companies aiming to market affected products in the European market or export them.
Scope of the Role
The regulation encompasses seven key commodities and their derivatives: cattle, cocoa, coffee, oil palm, soya, wood, and rubber. Given the extensive range of products derived from these commodities—including leather, meat, chocolate, coffee, soybeans, palm nuts, tires, furniture, cosmetics, printed books, pulp, and paper—Amazon's compliance scope is vast, involving millions of vendors and ASINs, as well as our private brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate project plans, process documentation, and change management strategies for new environmental compliance initiatives.
- Design and execute innovative change management and communication strategies to ensure adherence to new regulations.
- Establish and manage project success metrics, analyze KPIs, and troubleshoot reports from various data sources.
- Monitor and report on project status, ensuring timely execution of change programs while prioritizing workloads and maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
- Assess the needs of diverse stakeholders across different product lines and accurately document business requirements.
- Engage with various stakeholders, including government agencies and third-party data analytics firms, to communicate operational metrics and project evaluations.
- Develop and sustain global partnerships with both technical and non-technical teams, presenting findings to a range of audiences, including senior leadership.
Daily Responsibilities
In this role, you will collaborate across functions with both technical and non-technical personnel, leveraging your analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate a dynamic business environment. Your expertise will guide the prioritization of projects based on the evolving needs of a fast-paced organization, translating complex and ambiguous topics into clear, actionable plans.

Basic Qualifications
