As a Backend Engineer, you will form the core of our technology infrastructure, enabling our users to harness their data and improve their daily operations. Your robust engineering skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to make independent decisions position you as an ideal candidate for this role. Key Responsibilities

• Develop clear, modular, and maintainable code in Python/Go for cloud-native applications.

• Manage data from leading heavy machinery companies within our backend systems.

• Utilize the latest technologies while having opportunities for professional growth.

• Collaborate in cross-functional teams to design services that meet all backend requirements.

• Optimize frequently accessed endpoints through caching, algorithm enhancements, or improved data models.

• Research and assess various software solutions to drive innovation and keep the team at the forefront of technology.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in backend development or DevOps, or at least one significant project completed.

• Proficient in Python and at least one statically typed language (Go, Java, Rust).

• Familiarity with REST, Python frameworks such as Flask or Django, and common Python libraries (e.g., SQLAlchemy, Requests, Pytest).

• Understanding of or experience with microservices design patterns.

• Appreciation for elegant data models and clean abstractions.

• Enthusiasm for tackling new challenges and devising creative solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with streaming and time-series data.

• Knowledge of cloud configurations in Azure or AWS.

• Previous exposure to IoT design patterns and principles.
