We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join our team at HELLA. As a key member of our Process Automation department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing automated FEM simulations, enhancing data extraction processes, and collaborating on API integration.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement automated FEM simulations to optimize process efficiency
  • Enhance data extraction processes to improve data accuracy and reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate simulation data management systems using software APIs
  • Design automation processes with a focus on traceability and easy access
  • Troubleshoot and debug existing codebase to ensure smooth operation
  • Write high-quality, efficient, and well-documented code

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a technical master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field
  • Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Python, C++, or JavaScript
  • Experienced in shell programming within a Linux environment, ideally with familiarity with compute cluster systems such as PBS
  • Previous exposure to FEM programs like ABAQUS and Hyperworks is advantageous
  • Competent in using MS office programs
  • Effective communication in English (both written and spoken)
  • Team player, independent thinker, creative, and enthusiastic
