We are currently seeking a qualified individual to fulfill the following role:
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe, reliable, efficient, and environmentally compliant operation of HVAC-R systems.
- Oversee the planning and timely execution of HVAC and refrigeration operations related to maintenance, daily tasks, enhancements, and technical modifications for assigned vessels.
- Foster a culture of safety and environmental stewardship in collaboration with onboard and shore teams.
- Conduct regular inspections onboard as well as project-related inspections.
- Plan and participate in dry dock activities.
- Manage HVAC items and maintenance, including spare parts, consumables, and procedural documentation.
- Review and update maintenance procedures and item setups in the management system.
- Organize HVAC-R documentation and information effectively.
Candidate Profile
- Degree in HVAC, refrigeration, or a related field within the maritime industry.
- Professional training or experience in project management is advantageous.
- Background in HVAC-R systems on cruise ships, large ferries, or yachts is preferred.
- Familiarity with MS Office and administrative software (e.g., Infoship, Amos) is desirable.
- Experience leading small project teams of 2-4 individuals is beneficial.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Attention to detail and a structured approach to work are crucial.
- Proficiency in English is required.
