Veterinary Diagnostics Advisor

In the role of a Veterinary Diagnostics Consultant, you will primarily focus on promoting the IDEXX product range within the veterinary diagnostics sector while fostering strong relationships with clients. Your responsibilities will include engaging with veterinary practices and clinics to enhance their in-house diagnostic capabilities, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.

• You will autonomously oversee your designated territory, offering expert guidance to clients on various diagnostic methods, veterinary laboratory tests, and in-house analytical equipment.
• Collaboration with fellow IDEXX sales professionals in your area will be essential to successfully close sales of diagnostic equipment.
• You will relay customer feedback and competitive insights to the IDEXX marketing team and upper management, working closely with laboratory divisions to ensure effective resolution of client inquiries.
• Your role will involve articulating IDEXX's core values to clients while leveraging your industry expertise to provide tailored solutions.

• A Bachelor's degree or a comparable combination of education and relevant experience is preferred.
• Experience in territory management is advantageous, though we welcome applications from veterinarians without prior sales experience.
• Your background may be in veterinary or animal health sectors, or in the sales of medical, dental, or capital goods.
• Regardless of your sales experience, the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented and sales-driven environment is crucial.
• This position requires a willingness to travel extensively, including driving (company vehicle provided), occasional overnight stays, and flexibility for weekend events.
• Proficiency in both German and English, written and spoken, is mandatory.
