Position Overview
As the Global Community Engagement Manager for the Medical Student Ambassador Program, you will be instrumental in fostering and enhancing a worldwide network of dedicated medical students who act as representatives for AMBOSS.
Your primary responsibility will be to devise and execute strategies that engage, support, and empower ambassadors across diverse regions and cultures.
This role necessitates a blend of community development expertise, intercultural communication abilities, and a profound understanding of the needs and aspirations of medical students globally, coupled with a business-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities- Program Engagement: Partner with the International Community Program Lead to create and implement engagement strategies that connect the central team with international markets.
- AMBOSSador Impact: Participate in regional and global initiatives, collaborating closely with partnership managers, channels, and key stakeholders to formulate strategies that enhance the impact of ambassadors within their communities.
- Community Engagement: Facilitate peer-to-peer networking among ambassadors through online platforms, virtual gatherings, and various communication channels.
- Data Management: Oversee data entry and maintenance of the ambassador program, primarily utilizing the CRM tool HubSpot.
- AMBOSSador Support: Provide daily assistance to ambassadors, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Training and Development: Lead capacity-building initiatives and support the delivery of training sessions, workshops, and educational resources to equip ambassadors with the essential knowledge, skills, and tools to effectively advocate for the AMBOSS platform and mission.
- Program Expansion: Manage the recruitment and onboarding of new ambassadors, ensuring alignment with program objectives and values.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) and data management.
- Able to collaborate effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Passion for community engagement and support, particularly in the medical or educational sectors.
- Understanding of project development principles.
- Native-level English proficiency with excellent written communication skills; ideally, experience working with international communities of medical students and healthcare professionals.
- Over 3 years of experience in community management; a strong knowledge and enthusiasm for developing and nurturing international communities.
- Ability to manage stakeholders and prioritize effectively.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Clear, respectful, and honest communication skills for collaboration with colleagues.
- Commitment to being part of a compassionate and diverse team.
- Confidence with data tools (such as HubSpot) and skills in presentation, active listening, and problem-solving.
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks and lead resources across various projects and markets, thriving in a fast-paced environment while executing ideas and initiatives independently.
