Health and Safety Specialist Germany

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Expert to join our team in Germany. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing and leading risk awareness, health and safety operational excellence, and behavioral changes across our sites in Germany.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to ensure a safe working environment for our employees.
- Collaborate with site leaders to drive operational excellence and behavioral changes, focusing on leadership and culture.
- Engage with our sites through regular meetings, visits, and reporting to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Design and deliver training sessions, workshops, and coaching programs to enhance health and safety knowledge and skills.
- Prepare and present regular situation updates to our Corporate AMDS team.
- Contribute to the development of our KPIs reporting system to measure health and safety performance.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, physics, or chemistry.
- Master's degree in Health and Safety from a reputable institution is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in safety, behavioral psychology, operational risks, and lean manufacturing.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to navigate IT tools and motivate people to change their behavior.
- Fluency in German and English, with additional languages considered an asset.
You will join a team of approximately 10 Health and Safety Experts operating in different countries. Your focus will be on our sites in Germany, and you will report to our Head of Health and Safety. Up to 90% business trips are required.
