Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Technical Assistant for our Food Ingredients Lab to enhance our efforts in this vital sector. This role is a full-time position, initially limited to 1.5 years as a parental leave replacement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation and processing of samples for diverse food technology analyses.
  • Isolation and analysis of plant proteins.
  • Assessment of sensory characteristics of plant proteins in food products, following established protocols.
  • Planning and documenting experiments utilizing Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN).
  • Compilation and presentation of experimental findings.

Candidate Profile:
  • Completed vocational training in food technology, biotechnology, or a related field.
  • Preferably, some practical experience in food technology and/or protein handling.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and adept at documenting laboratory results.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative team player.
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
