This role presents an exciting opportunity for a driven and ambitious individual to collaborate with a highly skilled payroll team in the preparation and execution of both in-house and outsourced payroll processes. The position involves managing a complex monthly payroll for employees and crew, necessitating meticulous attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete payroll process for multiple EMEA countries.
- Facilitate system integrations between HR and global payroll platforms, including resolving discrepancies.
- Update payroll records in response to salary adjustments for internal movements.
- Verify the accuracy of information for new hires, including tax and banking details.
- Prepare monthly payroll-related financial journals.
- Assist with ongoing expansion projects and ad-hoc reporting as required.
- Test new setups, system enhancements, and updates impacting Global Payroll.
- Compile and process spreadsheets for variable payments and deductions.
- Prepare and bulk load spreadsheets into the payroll system.
- Support internal controls and procedures, including documentation and testing.
- Manage the preparation of third-party payments and participate in various payroll projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of payroll experience.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Experience with SAP and Employee Central Payroll is advantageous.
- Proficient computer skills, particularly in advanced Excel.
- Experience in German payroll processes.
- A methodical and efficient work ethic, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines, with strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor.
- Flexible work style, capable of adapting quickly to changing demands.
- Willingness to work outside of standard office hours when necessary.
Ideal Candidate:
The successful candidate will have experience in German withholding and social insurance calculations, along with excellent analytical skills. A high degree of initiative, strong interpersonal abilities, and exceptional communication skills are essential.
