About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Officer to join our team at Deutsche Börse Group. As a key member of our Compliance Service Management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and professional market standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a central point of contact for various group entities and compliance experts regarding compliance topics, fostering good collaboration and communication.
  • Provide dedicated support in all aspects of outsourcing contract management, from initiation to updates, optimising efficiency and mitigating risks.
  • Represent Group Compliance in regular meetings with DBG entities, facilitating the exchange of compliance-related information and ensuring proper documentation.
  • Assess compliance risks during the onboarding process of external suppliers and service providers.
  • Support the assessment and identification of potential improvements to existing compliance processes, proactively coordinating with stakeholders within Group Compliance and the wider organisation.
  • Support compliance projects and initiatives.
Requirements
  • University degree in compliance, law, business administration, or economics.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in the financial industry (preferably in the compliance or related function), a regulatory authority, a consulting firm, a law firm, or an accounting firm.
  • Good knowledge of outsourcing-related requirements and relevant regulatory laws and requirements for financial sector companies.
  • Strong writing, conceptual, and methodological skills and the ability to communicate positions in a clear and structured manner.
  • Ability to work in a team and in a matrix organisation within a multicultural and multi-location, international environment with high level of initiative, commitment, and motivation.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English and a good knowledge of German is required.
  • Dedication and flexibility as well as competent handling of MS Office applications.
