About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Analytics Consultant to join our team at SVA. As a key member of our Competence Center for Operational & Security Analytics, you will be responsible for delivering expert-level services in the field of log management and security analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage client requirements, design, and implement solutions using Splunk Enterprise with Splunk Enterprise Security, Elastic as ELK-Stack with Elastic SIEM, or Exabeam.
  • Design and implement customer-specific architectures and processes for on-prem, hybrid, and cloud environments.
  • Develop and integrate custom solutions for clients, including alarm rules and reporting dashboards.
  • Analyze and integrate various data sources to provide actionable insights.
  • Prepare and conduct Proof-of-Concepts (POCs), presentations, and workshops to demonstrate solution value.
  • Provide technical support to sales teams in creating tailored proposals.
  • Integrate new cloud-based SIEM technologies, such as Exabeam and Lacework Polygraph.

Requirements

  • A degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in consulting or a related field is desirable.
  • Certifications, such as Splunk Certified Administrator, Elastic Certified Engineer, Exabeam Accredited Core Deployment Engineer, CEH, GIAC GCIH, CompTia Security+, are highly valued.
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools, including network, Windows, Linux, scripting languages, automation, databases, and analysis tools.
  • Experience in IT security, including SIEM/SOC/Blue Team, pentesting/Red Team, PKI, server hardening, networks, firewalls, and cloud security.
  • Familiarity with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), ISO 27001, and ISO 27002, or relevant certifications, is desirable.
  • Excellent customer and service orientation, flexibility, and teamwork skills.
  • Strong communication skills with excellent German (C1 or higher) and English (B2 or higher) language proficiency.
