About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional News Editor to join our team at Ströer News Publishing GmbH. As a key member of our editorial team, you will be responsible for creating and curating engaging content for our regional audience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Content Creation: Develop and implement a content strategy that showcases local stories and news, and drives engagement with our audience.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our editorial team to plan, produce, and publish high-quality content that meets our brand standards.
  • Story Development: Identify and develop story ideas that resonate with our audience, and work with our writers and editors to bring them to life.
  • Content Optimization: Ensure that all content is optimized for search engines and meets our brand's SEO standards.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze content performance, and provide insights and recommendations to improve future content.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A degree in journalism, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in content creation, editing, and publishing; strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices; excellent writing, editing, and communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Work Environment: This is a full-time position that requires flexibility and adaptability. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic team.
