Financial Accountant Role

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all facets of financial accounting
  • Manage credit control and factoring processes
  • Assess liquidity and compile annual financial reports
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and control data
  • Engage in budgeting and forecasting activities
  • File VAT returns and perform necessary verifications
  • Administer DATEV, including master data, accounts, and cost centers
  • Act as a key user for departmental software
  • Work collaboratively with auditors and tax consultants
  • Prepare documentation for external audits
  • Create reports and analyses for management review
  • Conduct intercompany reconciliations
  • Assist with accounting for international affiliated entities
Qualifications:
  • Completed commercial education, preferably with further qualifications as a Certified Accountant or relevant expertise for career changers
  • At least 3 years of experience in accounting or finance is preferred
  • Proficient in both German and English
  • Skilled in industry-specific software and MS Office
  • Strong business acumen
  • Analytical mindset with a passion for numbers
