Position Overview

We are seeking a Student Assistant (m/f/d) to contribute to our Digital Learning Lab and help shape the evolution of digital education. This part-time role offers a unique opportunity to engage in research and innovative projects focused on developing concepts and solutions for digital educational materials and learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in ongoing research initiatives, including AI-enhanced learning and recommendation systems.
  • Assist the team in translating concepts into effective software solutions and applications, while also enhancing User Interfaces (UI) and User Experience (UX).
  • Contribute to the creation of educational content and digital teaching/learning scenarios informed by the latest scientific insights and technological advancements.
  • Support the development of academic publications and independently undertake research tasks, presenting findings in a structured manner.
Qualifications
  • Pursuing studies in fields such as Educational Technology, Psychology, Education Sciences, Pedagogy, Applied Computer Science, or related disciplines.
  • Experience in project work, preferably in software development and academic research.
  • Familiarity with UI and UX Design, along with a keen interest in emerging trends and technologies within the education sector.
  • Knowledge of developments in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and recommendation systems is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills in both German and English, with a proactive and independent work ethic.
