We are seeking a skilled Technician for Automated Systems Maintenance to join our team at FedEx. This role focuses on the upkeep and repair of our advanced material handling systems.
Position Overview:
In this position, you will oversee the monitoring, upkeep, and troubleshooting of our automated logistics systems. Collaborating with the technical team, your goal will be to maintain optimal functionality of all technical systems through proactive measures and specialized knowledge.
Essential Qualifications:
- Completed vocational training as a Mechatronics Technician, Electrician, or a related field
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in technical maintenance roles
- Strong understanding of operational and building technologies
- Experience in overseeing external service providers
- Proficient in computer operations
- Background in diagnosing issues with automated conveyor systems and building technologies
- Demonstrated responsibility and attention to detail
- Willingness to work shifts and be on call as needed
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance of conveyor systems
- Familiarity with safety protocols
- Experience in root cause analysis
- Knowledge of PLC-based control systems
- Basic proficiency in English
