Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Solutions Specialist to join our team at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics. As a key member of our opportunity management team, you will be responsible for qualifying offers and awarding them according to pre-approved business criteria.
Key Responsibilities:
- Qualify and award offers based on pre-approved business criteria
- Coordinate all aspects required to process customer enquiries
- Ensure that information is forwarded to the core bid team
- Manage tender processes with local, regional, and global stakeholders
- Coordinate with pricing teams of individual countries and product and sales managers
- Manage the CRM system
- Follow the established end-to-end process of the opportunity management team
Requirements:
- Many years of professional experience in logistics or project management
- Pricing and/or product background in the road and rail sector is recommended
- Self-motivation combined with the ability to work independently
- Affinity for sales and marketing and strong analytical skills
- Fluency in English, verbally and in writing
- Very good knowledge of standard PC applications and experience with Excel, tariff databases, and/or tender management software
