Your Role: Payroll Specialist
As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for both our headquarters and operations teams. You will be responsible for managing personnel data, conducting evaluations, and supporting audits related to social security and income tax.
- Payroll Management: You will oversee the entire payroll process, from data entry to disbursement, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: You will analyze personnel data, generate reports, and provide insights to management regarding payroll trends and employee compensation.
- Compliance & Audits: You will collaborate with auditors during social security and income tax audits, providing necessary documentation and ensuring accurate reporting.
- Process Optimization: You will continuously strive to improve payroll processes and tools through communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Employee Support: You will serve as a point of contact for employees and managers regarding payroll-related inquiries, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
Your Profile:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of labor, tax, and social security laws. You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, payroll, or HR
- 3+ years of experience in payroll accounting, preferably within a fast-growing company
- Proficiency in German billing software (SAP is a plus)
- Native-level written and spoken German, good written and spoken English
