Lead Frontend Engineer in Financial Technology

In the role of **Lead Frontend Engineer (m/f/d)** within the **Financial Technology** sector, you will ensure the success of our clients' business and IT transformations through practical consulting and technological foresight. You will assist some of the largest banks, financial service providers, and insurance companies worldwide in overcoming the diverse challenges within the industry by developing innovative applications and designing modern frontend architectures while adhering to established software design patterns (MVC, MVP, MVVM, etc.).

This position is available for both full-time and part-time employment.

Your New Role
  • You will assess and develop innovative frontend architectures while considering current standards for our clients, making technology decisions, and acting as a multiplier across team boundaries.
  • In an international, agile team, you will collaborate interactively with clients, design novel IT solutions, and integrate applications into the clients' application landscape (both frontend and backend).
  • Based on requirement descriptions, mockups, and wireframes, you will design and develop frontend projects with a strong emphasis on quality and user-friendliness.
  • You will support the creation of new service offerings, sales activities, and the development of proposal content with innovative technical solutions.
  • You will carry the technical responsibility for projects and sub-projects.
Your Profile
  • A solid academic background in (Business) Computer Science, an IT-related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Relevant professional experience in frontend development projects and hands-on experience with TypeScript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular 14+, or React 16+.
  • Ideally, experience in Java full-stack development projects or a willingness to develop in the backend area in the future.
  • A passion for engaging with new technologies and approaches, as well as keeping up with market developments.
  • Transformation orientation, openness, and drive, embodying the principle of 'Leading from the front.'
  • Strong communication and moderation skills in both German and English, along with project-related travel readiness.
