Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of maintenance professionals to ensure smooth operations and high availability of equipment and facilities.
- Conduct preventive maintenance, enforce internal processes and standards, and foster a safety culture within the team.
- Contribute to the continuous development and optimization of all equipment and facilities, and participate in strategic decision-making processes.
- Manage a part of the maintenance team and oversee automated sorting systems, conveyors, forklifts, and building systems.
- Ensure maximum availability of all equipment and implement modern maintenance approaches like Condition Based Maintenance (CBM).
- Handle across-shift troubleshooting on technical systems.
- Implement necessary safety standards and promote a proactive safety culture within the team.
- Promote continuous development of the team in both hard and soft skills.
- Develop concepts for optimizing equipment according to Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Lead and support technical projects.
- Analyze relevant KPIs for equipment and internal processes.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Prior experience in leading maintenance teams.
- Experience in industrial maintenance, preferably with automated systems.
- Fluency in German and good English skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Multi-skilled in electrical and mechanical disciplines.
- Knowledge of maintenance and building systems of a logistics center.
- Experience with PLC-based control systems.
- Knowledge of modern maintenance concepts like CBM, TPM.
- Experience in (technical) project management.
- Ability to work in a team and effectively present complex information.
