Position: Embedded Software Development Engineer

Location: Schlierbach (Göppingen District)

Our recent expansion with a new production facility marks a significant step towards sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Defining specifications, architecture, and design for embedded systems aimed at controlling electrical drive systems, emphasizing firmware and software development.
  • Developing firmware in C/C++ for embedded platforms.
  • Planning and conducting tests related to development.
  • Producing comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Coordinating interdisciplinary efforts and engaging in all phases of project execution.
  • Assuming increasing responsibilities within the domain.
  • Estimating, defining, and organizing project activities.
  • Reporting directly to the lead of the electronics development team.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electrical or Information Technology or a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge and practical experience in the development of embedded systems, both hardware and software.
  • Background in drive and control technology, ideally within roller shutter, sun protection, and building automation sectors.
  • Expertise in C/C++ programming at the microcontroller level.
  • Familiarity with product development processes, including electronic product commissioning and manufacturing.
  • Solid understanding of configuration management tools (e.g., Git), object-oriented software design, UML, ECAD (e.g., Altium), embedded operating systems (e.g., FreeRTOS), and wireless technologies.
  • Proficient in both German and English.
