Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the future of battery management solutions for a wide range of applications, including portable devices and e-mobility.
Responsibilities:- Lead the design and development of analog/mixed-signal ICs for power management applications, such as battery chargers, precision battery monitors/protectors, and fuel gauges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product specifications, conduct feasibility studies, and architect innovative solutions.
- Ensure comprehensive simulation coverage for all designed circuits, verifying performance and functionality.
- Contribute to the design schedule and die size estimation process, optimizing circuit size and performance.
- Provide technical support during post-silicon validation and debug phases, ensuring product quality and reliability.
We are seeking a seasoned engineer with a strong academic background in electrical engineering or a related field. You will possess extensive experience in analog/mixed-signal IC design within the power management or battery management semiconductor industry.
Your expertise should encompass:
- In-depth understanding of power conversion architectures, including buck, boost, and buck-boost converters.
- Proven experience in designing battery charger ICs with multiple control loops or multi-cell battery monitor/protection ICs featuring precision ADCs.
- Knowledge of low Iq design techniques essential for battery-powered devices.
- Proficiency in analog and mixed-signal circuit design, including amplifiers, bandgap references, data converters, and other relevant components.
- Experience with modeling in Verilog A/AMS/SystemVerilog.
