The Lab Vendor & Operations Manager is a critical role at Miltenyi Biomedicine, responsible for the selection, oversight, and management of our central and specialty laboratory vendors. This position is essential to achieving the bioanalytical objectives of our clinical development programs.

• Lab Vendor Management: Identify, select, and oversee central and specialty laboratories for our clinical trials, ensuring quality, costs, and capabilities meet our established standards.
• Overseeing Deliverables: Ensure vendors meet or exceed expected timelines for test results, adhere to industry standards and regulations, and escalate issues to relevant stakeholders.
• Assay Development and Transfer, Lab Readiness: Work closely with other Miltenyi teams to validate, verify, and harmonize transferred assays and reference ranges at our lab vendors, ensuring labs are operationally ready.
• Stakeholder Management: Serve as the First Point of Contact between Miltenyi and laboratories, keeping internal trial teams and stakeholders updated on supplier performance and participating in relevant meetings.
• Quality Metrics and Continuous Improvement: Evaluate, track, and report lab supplier performance, cost efficiency, and compliance, identifying and implementing new strategies for process improvement and cost reduction.

• A Master's degree or higher in biochemistry, biology, pharmacy, or a related field, with several years of experience in a clinical laboratory, biotech, pharma, or CRO setting.
• A thorough understanding of the legal framework pertinent to bioanalytical assays and quality standards for laboratory data in clinical research (EU, USA).
• Robust communication and negotiation skills, ability to work under pressure, and dependability.
• Fluency in German (C1) and business-proficient in English (B2).
• High levels of accountability, extroversion, team and action-oriented approach, problem-solving abilities, and skills in setting priorities.
