Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily financial transactions of QEE, focusing on its main business, a renewable power plant EPC service provider.
  • Maintain accuracy and completeness of general ledgers, AR, and AP by supervising and posting business transactions.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing in accordance with IFRS and HGB, preparing appendices for group company reporting.
  • Support financial audit of QEE, responding to external auditor requests and contacting relevant internal teams.
  • Be the contact person for all departments for accounting issues and questions.
  • Handle ad-hoc requests from top management and Head of the Department.
  • Continuously develop and adjust accounting work processes, optimizing automation, standardization, and digitalization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or accounting or related field.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in accounting or finance positions, with experience in managing audits.
  • Proven track record in finance and/or accounting roles within an international environment.
  • Comprehensive understanding and application of HGB and IFRS accounting standards, supported by a globally recognized certification.
  • Proficient in utilizing SAP and MS Excel for financial analysis, reporting, and management.
  • Fluent in English and German; proficiency in additional languages a plus.
