About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Pricing Analyst to join our Pricing and Revenue Management team at United Airlines. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing pricing strategies that drive revenue growth and maximize profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies that align with business objectives and market trends.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitive research to inform pricing decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Revenue Management, and Planning, to ensure alignment and effective execution of pricing strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze market performance, including fare usage, revenue, and consumer segmentation behavior, to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers and partners, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide financial analysis and support for menu planning initiatives, including menu pricing and profitability analysis.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and support tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1 year of experience in airline Pricing and Revenue Management division.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience manipulating large data sets.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to effectively work with other levels of the organization and outside suppliers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Germany for any employer without sponsorship.
  • Must be fluent in English (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience with United's Pricing and Revenue Management division.
  • Knowledge of airport operations and continuous improvement experience.
  • Experience working with informational management systems and data analysis tools.
