The Team:
Our Platform Infrastructure team is responsible for constructing and scaling the cloud platform that powers Celonis, utilizing multiple Kubernetes clusters across various cloud providers. This role offers an opportunity to refine your expertise with cutting-edge technologies in DevOps, CI/CD, containerization, orchestration, and infrastructure as code.
The Role:
- Build and maintain a highly available Microservices Cloud platform utilizing Kubernetes.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable, secure, and highly available software leveraging top-tier technologies.
- Establish best practices and create tools to promote CI/CD usage and the adoption of infrastructure/platform components by engineering teams.
- Automate operational tasks and implement infrastructure as code.
- Monitor and manage our environments by integrating telemetry and observability into the platform, ensuring best practices for notifications and response processes.
- Take ownership of various components within a cloud-native architecture.
- Implement DevOps infrastructure components and best practices, deploying CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in software engineering.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in cloud platform and infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining Cloud solutions within large Enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with at least one of the following cloud providers: AWS, Azure, GCP.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
- Strong skills in *nix environments.
- Experience in building highly available, scalable, distributed systems using a Microservices architecture.
- Solid understanding of development, automation, and monitoring tools and practices, including Kustomize, Datadog, Terraform, Grafana, Ansible, Bash, and GitHub Actions.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, GitOps, and CI/CD methodologies.
- Knowledge of containerization, network protocols, encryption, and security practices.
- Experience managing Kubernetes clusters in production across various infrastructures.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies.
