Infineon Technologies AG is in search of a proactive Systems Engineer specializing in Gallium Nitride (GaN) Power Switches and Integrated Power Stages tailored for low voltage (LV) automotive applications up to 100V. This position focuses on product definition and development, working alongside a multidisciplinary team to innovate cutting-edge automotive GaN products. If you have a strong interest in power supply systems and semiconductor technology, this role is an excellent fit for you.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of switching mode power supply architectures and control mechanisms
  • Proven experience with LV automotive power supply systems and 48V power conversion technologies
  • Expertise in GaN power switches, driving circuits, and their value propositions
  • Practical experience in designing, debugging, and testing power converters
  • Understanding of magnetic component design, including inductors and transformers
  • Familiarity with semiconductor product development methodologies
Qualifications for the Position:
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with experience in power supply or semiconductor sectors
  • Experience in semiconductor product definition, applications engineering, and customer engagement
  • Knowledge of semiconductor design, packaging, and qualification processes is advantageous
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and tackle technical challenges independently
  • Self-driven, eager to learn, and possess strong communication skills in English
