SAP is seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer/Development Expert to join our Localization as a Self-Service team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for technical and architecture topics in the context of Localization as a Self-Service for all relevant localization domains, including taxes, invoicing, payments, reporting, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement architecture for Localization as a Self-Service across all relevant localization domains and technical stacks for S/4HANA Cloud.
  • Leverage Generative AI to provide next-level Localization as a Self-Service experience for SAP customers and partners.
  • Work closely with partners and occasionally host partner workshops to provide architecture guidance and support partners in the end-to-end implementation cycle.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest enhancements in S/4HANA Cloud extensibility and share knowledge with the team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or master degree in computer science, natural science, engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in all aspects of software development and maintenance with expert-level development skills (ABAP OO, CDS views, OData, RAP, SAP UI5/HTML5).
  • Architectural knowledge and hands-on technical competence in S/4HANA extensibility options, including key user extensibility, developer extensibility, and side-by-side extensibility.
  • Good understanding of S/4HANA business processes typically relevant for localization and extensions.
  • Proven architectural leadership and stakeholder management skills, very good communication skills, and a service-oriented mindset.
