The Aurubis Operating System (AOS) plays a crucial role in our sustainable strategy at the Hamburg facility. The introduction, sustainable execution, and ongoing enhancement of AOS methodologies are vital for boosting our competitive edge.
We are seeking a Digital Transformation Manager for Automation & Security (m/f/d) to join our Continuous Improvement department at the Hamburg site.
Your Responsibilities
- True Industry 4.0: Formulate our strategy for autonomous systems and automated operations at the Hamburg facility to enhance workplace and plant safety while elevating our production capabilities.
- Implementation Leadership: Spearhead individual projects focused on the automation and digitalization of our processes, ensuring successful execution and stakeholder engagement at all levels, down to the operational floor.
- Accountability for Results: You will oversee the successful execution and validation of projects, with your ability to effectively communicate these outcomes being essential.
- Expertise in the Field: Leverage your knowledge in autonomous systems, automation, and digitalization across all plant areas in a consulting role. Your technical proficiency will ensure alignment with our IT infrastructure.
- Standard Development and Implementation: Create and uphold our standards, ensuring their integration into our systems and process management. Be pragmatic and incorporate our Lean methodology from the Aurubis Operating System (AOS).
- Your Impact: In this role, you will have the opportunity to play a pivotal part in shaping our digital future and driving substantial changes within the organization.
Your Qualifications
- You possess a degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, technology, IT, or a related field.
- You have experience in selecting and implementing autonomous systems and automation solutions within an industrial setting.
- You bring several years of hands-on experience in production or supply chain environments, along with expertise in Lean, process management, and project management.
- You excel in communication and collaboration across all levels of the organization.
- You have a strong affinity for digital solutions and demonstrate quick comprehension.
- You are fluent in German and possess good English language skills.
