Process Consultant for Supply Chain Optimization

Position Overview:

This role is pivotal in enhancing and tailoring the global customer order processing workflow, ensuring a seamless transition from customer inquiries to production order processing and the final delivery of goods. The focus will be on configurable products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize and adapt the customer order processing workflow, emphasizing configurable products.
  • Identify improvement opportunities within processes and implement new tools and methodologies in collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Oversee, coordinate, and assess requirements for process or IT modifications, ensuring optimal workflows are established while considering the entire process chain.
  • Support IT rollouts and engage in the evaluation and prioritization of optimization projects.
  • Act as a liaison for the supply chain between Product Development, Product Life Cycle Process, and Operations.
  • Design and continuously enhance processes and functions in partnership with both global and local departments.
  • Develop and execute new configuration strategies.
  • Assess and technically detail new requirements while managing their implementation.
  • Provide second-level support to global production sites for issues related to the order fulfillment process involving configurable materials.
  • Lead and coordinate projects within the international supply chain landscape.
  • Deliver training and support to key users worldwide.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in supply chain management.
  • Proven track record in executing logistics and IT projects.
  • Comprehensive understanding of supply chain interdependencies and process management.
  • Strong skills in designing and optimizing supply chain processes.
  • Proficient in SAP, particularly in the PP, SD, and MM modules, along with MS Office.
  • Experience with SAP LO-VC and AVC, as well as other configuration tools.
  • Fluent in both German and English.
  • Demonstrated holistic thinking, initiative, and strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent training, moderation, and presentation capabilities.
  • High customer orientation, teamwork ability, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel internationally and possess intercultural competence.
