Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our team at Topcon. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to our employees and managers, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide HR guidance and support to employees and managers on various HR-related matters, including employee relations, recruitment, and talent development.
  • Develop and implement HR programs and initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and performance.
  • Collaborate with the HR Manager to design and deliver training programs, workshops, and other development opportunities for employees.
  • Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HR, preferably in an international, matrixed environment.
  • Fluent English and German (written and spoken) is necessary.
  • Deep knowledge of German local law and legislation, as well as general knowledge of other countries' labor legislation.
  • High level of computer literacy, including MS Office Suite and SaaS.
  • Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and the ability to problem-solve.
  • Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, and proactive.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Broad knowledge and experience in Human Resources, including recruitment, employment legislation, compensation, employee relations, safety, training, and employee development.
  • Ability to manage multiple and sometimes competing priorities.
  • Contribute to a team environment through developing positive working relationships that are based on trust and integrity.
