EU Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Risk Manager to oversee risk management initiatives within our EU Surface Transportation sector. This role is pivotal in fostering a robust risk culture and implementing effective mitigation strategies across various business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Risk Training Program: You will spearhead the development and execution of a comprehensive risk training program, promoting a culture of risk awareness throughout the organization.
- Collaboration with Business Units: Partnering with diverse teams, you will ensure that risks are effectively identified and mitigated in both the short and long term, while maintaining oversight of tracking and reporting risk management actions.
- Strategic Oversight: Adopting a holistic perspective on risk issues, you will collaborate with global teams to address challenges as they arise.
- Control Design: You will be instrumental in designing controls aimed at preventing the recurrence of identified risks.
- Risk Evaluation: Your responsibilities will include assessing new and emerging risks to gauge their potential impact on operations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Building and maintaining trust through impactful relationships with key stakeholder groups will be essential to your success.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in compliance program management, legal affairs, governance, audit, or risk management.
- Experience handling sensitive information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification in auditing or related fields.
- Proficiency in SQL and Excel.
- Experience in defining program requirements and utilizing data metrics to drive enhancements.
