Role Overview

As the Procurement Manager at TeamViewer, you will oversee the acquisition of essential goods and services that support the operational framework of the organization. This position requires the formulation of effective procurement strategies, engaging in negotiations with vendors, and ensuring that procurement activities are in harmony with the company’s objectives. You will be tasked with managing supplier partnerships and ensuring that procurement operations are both cost-effective and compliant with relevant policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's mission, focusing on cost-effectiveness and quality assurance in all purchasing endeavors.
  • Identify, assess, and cultivate relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to secure optimal value for the organization.
  • Develop and oversee the procurement budget, ensuring all expenditures are within financial parameters and objectives are achieved.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance procurement processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate potential risks.
  • Ensure compliance of all procurement activities with company policies, legal standards, and industry regulations while identifying and addressing procurement risks.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to stay informed about industry trends, pricing structures, and supply chain dynamics, utilizing this data to inform purchasing decisions.
  • Supervise the drafting, review, and management of supplier contracts, ensuring clarity and enforceability of terms and conditions.
  • Track procurement metrics and deliver regular reports to senior management regarding procurement activities, performance metrics, and cost savings.
  • Collaborate closely with various departments, including Finance, ESG, IT Security, and Legal, to ensure that procurement activities align with overall business goals.
  • This position may necessitate occasional travel for supplier meetings and industry events.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Procurement, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Procurement Manager or in a comparable role.
  • Fluency in both German and English is essential; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to effectively manage supplier relationships.
  • Familiarity with procurement software and tools.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet stringent deadlines.
  • Experience in IT Services, Consulting, or other sectors with a focus on indirect spending.
